Year End Requirements

  1. Be a current member of IPHC & APHA (you may sign up for both at the show in April) 
  2. Show at BOTH the Spring Double Point in April (visit ishsa.info for more information) and the IPHC SUMMER COLOR CLASSIC in August
  3. Performance categories must show in halter AND 2 Performance classes (showmanship does not qualify as a performance class), Ranch categories must show in Ranch Conformation AND 2 other ranch classes, In-Hand categories must show in Halter, In-Hand Trail, and Longeline (Halter/In-Hand trail at Spring Double Point, Halter/In-Hand Trail/Longeline at the Summer Color Classic)
  4. All awards are a ONE rider/ONE horse combination (excluding Green Horse and Open horse divisions)
  5. Points will be calculated based on the number of horses in the class, capping at 6pts (please see table below)
  6. Divisions are as follows:

  • Rookie (must fill out declaration form below)

  • Youth Walk Trot 11-18
  • Novice Youth
  • Youth 13 & Under
